so happy u pub'ed :') very real! i think it's easy to get stuck in this tech bubble that hails how **easy** it is to create these cheap images, but it's another story to teach how to create meaning in that art. art (design/writing/drawing) has always been about the process for me, rather than the final product. also lol cuz sharon lin is my poetry inspo and deb is my visual art inspo (':
Woah!! The convergence of creative inspo :0 but yeah I feel, I think there is an unspoken craft to tediousness, yet also understand the argument that sometimes it is better to automate (ie backgrounds in webtoons rnt hand drawn and are 3D models). That being said I think to there also has to be the acknowledgement that automating abstracts out creative control in which you won’t embed your whole self in the work
